Noah

Welcome Back To School Noah!  On Friday, September 16th Hometown Heroes gave Noah the VIP treatment. He was driven to school in a motorcade and walked to class with the help of Central Cabarrus High School's pep band and cheerleaders. We are so happy to have you back with us Noah, and we wish you a wonderful year.

canned food drive
Canned Food Drive at RRES October 3rd Through the 17th:  Donations will support two local food pantries that serve our community!  We look forward to seeing how many cans our students and staff can collect, and the class who donates the most will get a surprise!

Security Procedures at RRES

lobbyguard Safety Procedures for 2016-17:  In an effort to continuously improve student safety, we ask that parents not walk children to class in the mornings.  We appreciate your support with this new policy as it will help to protect valuable instructional time and help us to achieve our top priority, which is keeping our students as safe as possible. If you need to deliver something to the classroom or you have a quick message for the teacher, we will be happy to assist you with this in the front office.  If you need to speak directly with the teacher, please call or email to make an appointment.  Thank you for your support with this.

All visitors who enter the building will need to report to the front office where they will be asked to scan a valid photo ID and check in using our computerized LobbyGuard check-in system.

September 15th to October 15th is National Hispanic Heritage Month

NH
We Are Celebrating at Rocky River!

Did you know our school now has 4 classrooms involved in our Spanish Language Immersion Program or SPLASH? We also have a Spanish teacher as part of our specials rotation this year.  We are so excited about our students learning to speak Spanish as part of their elementary school experience in CCS.  Learn more about National Hispanic Heritage Month at this link:  http://www.hispanicheritagemonth.org/
