Patriots STEM Garden Fundraiser
Our garden has been chosen as an Eagle Scout project by former student, Nick Migliaccio. Nick plans to bring in topsoil, build benches and an arbor, lay pavers, edge the garden and plant the border. In order to complete this project, Nick is having a Pancake Breakfast fundraiser this Sunday, March 8th from 7:30am - 11:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1400 Suther Road, Charlotte (right across from UNCC off Highway 49). The cost is $5.00 per person or $15.00 per family for a breakfast of pancakes, sausage and beverage. All proceeds benefit the Patriots' Garden.
Patriots' Garden Applications
We are accepting applications for gardeners from students in grades K – 5. Students can pick up an application outside the media center. We have a limited number of spots available – 5 per grade level. All applications have to be handed to Ms. Ferguson because students will
be accepted on a first-come, first served basis. Once I have five
applications from a grade I won’t be able to accept any more from that
grade. Click here for more information.>>>
