  • Join NCMS in our Random Act of Kindness Week.  In an effort to demonstrate the importance of thinking of others and the wonderful feeling it can bring, NCMS is hosting RAK Week February 20-24.  We are also honoring 12 year old Gabriel Jacobs, a NCMS student who always thought of others.  Gabriel passed away too early, but we will keep his spirit alive!  In addition to RAK Week, we are also hosting Spirit Week, where our students will participate in different dress up days.

Matching Mrak onday - Pick a friend or two and dress alike!

Titan Tuesday - Wear your Titan gear or colors to support our teams, just like Gabe would!

Wacky Wednesday - Pull out the tackiest clothes you own!!

Thankful Thursday - -$1.00 hat day-all proceeds go to the Gabe’s Heart Foundation.  At lunch, be sure to visit the Appreciation Station, where you can write a note of thanks to any adult on our campus. (Bus drivers, custodians, nurse, mtss coach, media center coordinator, tech facilitator, office staff, resource officer, social worker, cafeteria staff, iss coordinator, therapist, principals, guidance counselors, teachers)

Friendship Friday - Wear red and black for Gabe, his favorite team’s colors.  At lunch, you MUST sit with your team, but you may sit at the team table that has your birthday month listed. Try talking to someone you don’t chat with every day. Make a new friend!

Through these activities, we will honor Gabriel, encourage our students and staff to connect with each other, and encourage all to reach out to those we don’t know very well.  Building relationships is an integral part of helping children to cope in a world that can sometimes be frightening, and this is one way to combat those feelings!

  • shop There's a new way to make donations to our school.....that doesn't even cost a penny!  For a different type of fundraising project, we'd like to implement an iOS app (Apple and Android) called Shoparoo Fundraising.  It's incredibly simple; just take a picture of any shopping receipt and we'll not only earn cash donations but also be entered into different lotteries.  For more details or questions as to how exactly this works, visit the link HERE.  To download the app, search your Google Play, Apple Store or click HERE.  Thank you!
