  • Fun Run Kickoff Jan. 25th

The main fundraiser for this Spring is the Mount Pleasant Fun Run. It is a nine-day program that will kick off with a Pep Rally on January 25th. Families will have time to get pledges for every lap their student runs (30-35 laps), and we will celebrate at the Fun Run on February 3rd. We are excited to do our Fun Run a little differently this year with an indoor Glo-Run. Students will also experience an amazing character theme, BACKYARD BOX OFFICE! It is a movie theme all about making a difference by getting into character. Our students will learn from five real kid difference-makers. From inventors, to world-class speakers, to business owners, to world-record holders, these five kids will inspire our students to practice the five “Character Acts” and make a difference in our community. Donations will go toward Gym Upgrades, so please help our school by reaching out to sponsors. Also, all families are invited to come out and cheer on your student at the Fun Run on February 3.

  • PTO Meeting Honoring Local Heroes

On Monday February 6, 2017, at our PTO meeting, our school would like to take the time to honor our local heroes. We are looking for all of our family members that are active or inactive Military, Law Enforcement, Fire and EMS. We want to take the time to recognize them along with our students at our PTO meeting that night. To help us prepare for this night, we would love to have a picture of each student with their hero to be used in a slideshow that will be played at PTO. Pictures can be submitted on the school website at the ReplayIt link below or by email to Mr. Schladensky at robert.schladensky@cabarrus.k12.nc.us. Please make sure that your photos are full size/best quality when uploading. Hard copies may also be sent to your child's teacher. Thanks very much!
