Mrs. Emily Francis, W.M. Irvin's Teacher of the Year!
Congratulation to Mrs. Francis who has been selected as the 2015-2016 Teacher of the Year. She makes significant contributions to the entire school, builds great relationships with students and staff, demonstrates a wide range of content knowledge over a variety of subjects, and works with our ESL population to master language skills. Her Cinco de Mayo Festival and parent celebrations are known throughout the community. She is proud to be a teacher and her positivity radiates throughout the building! We are proud to call her an Irvin Eagle!
Irvin students want to thank Academy Sports for their recent donation to our P.E. department. We will use the new equipment to play with during our PE class outside during free play. We appreciate it!
Congratulations to Sarah Lewis, Kindergarten Teacher, who was selected as the CCS Hilbish Ford Teacher of the Month for December. Sarah will be recognized at the Cabarrus County School’s Board of Education meeting on Monday December 14th. We are proud of you Mrs. Lewis!
Congratulations to Mrs. Roseman on being selected by her peers as this year’s Teacher Assistant of the Year. Working with students is her passion, and everyday she is teaching 4 LLI groups and 1 DI group. She is always positive about the extra work and planning that it takes, and does it with a positive attitude. She is also very artistic and anytime the school needs banners or signs she makes them. In additional to all of this, she organizes the four blood drives every year. Congratulations Mrs. Roseman on this well-deserved honor.
