  • Dr. Lowder Announces Brian Hamilton as Principal of Irvin

    Dr. Lowder announced to the staff that Mr. Brian Hamilton is the new principal of WM Irvin Elementary. Mr. Hamilton has been our assistant principal for the last three years and is well respected by students and staff. He is looking forward to continuing the great work going on here at Irvin. CONGRATS, Mr. Hamilton!

  • Family Movie Night

    This Friday is Irvin Movie Night. Admission is only $1.00 per person. We will have concessions for purchase. The movie starts at 6:30pm and doors open at 6:00pm. Parents, this is not a drop off event. We want families to enjoy the movie together.

  • Ms. Hartsell Selected for September SOAR Award

    The SOAR AWARD is given on a monthly basis to an employee who has SOARED in their job at Irvin. The selection is based on nominations from staff members. The employee receives a front row parking place, a plaque, and prizes donated by Chick-Fil-A. The Chick-Fil-A cow also makes an appearance. Congratulations to this month’s winner, Ms. Kimberly Hartsell. Click on the picture to read about her nomination.

  • Multi-Tiered System of Support, MTSS

    At Irvin Elementary, we want to ensure growth and success for all of our students! To help us make certain that all student needs are met, we are using a process called Multi-Tiered System of Support, MTSS. This process promotes student growth by evaluating the strengths and needs of each student. For additional information, click on the link under the parent tab.

    You, the parents and families are essential partners in promoting good attendance because you have the influence to make sure your children get to school every day.
