Beautification Day Outdoor Beautification Evening
Tuesday, July 28 (6:00 pm - 8:30 pm)

On Tuesday, 7/28,  Irv will host an outdoor beautification evening for WM Irvin.  We welcome all students, parents, and community volunteers to join us as we clean up however much of the outside of the school we can get done during the early evening hours.   Please bring outdoor gardening tools and gloves.  See you there!

  • The Importance of School Attendance

    Bringing Attendance Home, a video from Attendance Works, features parents talking to other parents about reducing absenteeism. Filmed in schools across the country, the video offers tips for parents and schools to improve student attendance. There is also a version dubbed in Spanish.

  • Online Free & Reduced Lunch Applications

    Apply on-line for your child/children to receive free or reduced price school meals. The website, www.lunchapplication.com, is designed to guide your through the process. The application will be sent directly to Cabarrus County Schools, and once the application has been received, the district office will determine the eligibility and send a letter to you. Paper applications are still available.

Awards and Recognitions

  • Jimmie Johnson Grant Irvin Receives Grant from the Jimmie Johnson Foundation
    The Jimmie Johnson Foundation along with Lowe’s Toolbox for Education has awarded our school a grant for $40,316 to build a track in the back of our school.  Our new track will include workout stations and will be built this spring. Thanks Jimmie Johnson Foundation!
