Welcome to Hickory Ridge High School, a North Carolina Honor School of Excellence.

In our 3rd year of operation, HRHS is achieving great success in academics, athletics, clubs, and organizations. Results of the NC ABCs Accountability Model indicate high growth for 2008-2009 with 90.6% of our students' test scores at or above grade level. In addition, our school met all AYP goals under the No Child Left Behind Legislation. HRHS is extremely proud of its students and staff for achieving designation as a North Carolina Honor School of Excellence by the NC Board of Education.

 

 

Summer School Options for Courses Failed

Online credit recovery courses will be offered this summer. There are two options:

• NC Virtual Public School - no cost, limited courses
• Quest Academy - $275, enrollment form

Notice to HRHS Athletes

Any student trying out for sports next year and/or attending summer workouts MUST have a current physical on file. NO EXCEPTIONS. It must be signed and dated by a licensed physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner. It also must have a doctor’s office stamp. Forms may be turned in to your coach, Mrs. Johnson, or Mr. Zirkle.

Senior Portraits for Rising Seniors

Photo Memories is scheduled to take senior portraits this summer at Hickory Ridge High's cafeteria from July 27 - August 5.. Rising Seniors should receive an appointment card in the mail from Photo Memories.

Our PTSO has partnered with Furtal.com and has created a web site or funding portal, or "furtal". This site includes many of the top online retailers who pay commissions for purchases made through our school's furtal.

Hickory Ridge athletics teams will be offering many summer camps for area youth. As we get information, we will post it below.

Congratulations Class of 2010!

Hickory Ridge High School held its 2nd Commencement Exercises on Sunday, June 13 at 6:00 PM at the Cabarrus Arena.

We are very proud of our 2010 graduating class and would like to thank them for their hard work while at Hickory Ridge and wish them luck in the future!
