What is IB?
The International Baccalaureate® (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation, motivated by its mission, focused on the student. IB includes four programmes for students aged 3 to 19 designed to help develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world. Founded in 1968, they currently work with 3,631 schools in 146 countries to develop and offer challenging programmes to over 1,116,000 students.
The IB is more than its educational programmes and certificates. At its heart it is motivated by a mission to create a better world through education. IB has a hard earned reputation for quality, for high standards and for pedagogical leadership.
The IB offers four programmes for students aged 3 to 19. The programmes can be offered individually or as a continuum by IB World Schools.
