This spring, visiting artist Greg Scott directed students in a Raku firing -- a traditional Japanese method of firing pottery in which the natural element of carbon is incorporated into the design of the raku piece. Students' creativity and dedication to this annual event was impressive; the firing was successful with many interesting pieces! 2009-10 Dress Code
Please Remember:
Sweatpants (with or without elastic) are NOT ALLOWED in school.
Hoodies and Hooded Sweatshirts are NOT ALLOWED in school.
Ipods and Cell Phones are NOT ALLOWED until after 2:15.
CCHS amended its dress code for the 2009-2010 school year. Central Cabarrus High School recognizes that a person's appearance is indicative of their self image and their potential conduct. What is appropriate appearance, however, in recreational or leisure situations may not be appropriate in the school environment. The dress code is designed to maximize safety and school spirit, minimize fashion competition among students, and reflect readiness for serious academic endeavor.
Check out the NEW WEB PAGE for our Freshman Academy for all your important news concerning this important part of Central Cabarrus High School.
There is a permanent link posted under Academics on the sidebar to the left.
