The clear choice.

CCS KIDS: PLUS Program Customer Satisfaction Survey
Fall 2014

This survey is designed to help the Cabarrus County Schools (CCS) KIDS: PLUS Program determine the degree to which your expectations are being met. We acknowledge that the questions in this survey are identical each quarter. This is done intentionally so that we can assess the level of customer satisfaction throughout the course of the year. Your participation in the survey is important and makes us more aware of ways we can improve the services CCS KIDS: PLUS provides for your child. CCS appreciates your business and wants to meet your expectations. The survey will take no more than 20 minutes of your time.

You selected a number card at your child's CCS KIDS: PLUS site. The number will not identify you by name in this survey but will allow you to be entered into a drawing to win a reward for participating in the survey. That is, Question #2 in the survey asks you to enter the number that you chose. Once all the survey results have been reported, all numbers that were entered in Question #2 for your child's KIDS: PLUS site will be placed into a drawing. One winner per site will receive a $25.00 credit to their account. Your number card must be presented in order to claim the $25 credit if your number is drawn.

CCS KIDS: PLUS appreciates you giving us the opportunity to serve you better.

Sincerely,

Nikki Iadarola, CCS KIDS: PLUS Program Director

Kids:Plus
Program

Kids:Plus is the only before and after school child care in Cabarrus County conveniently located at each elementary school, eliminating the need to transport school aged children off site. We are dedicated to providing the best possible care, in a financially sound manner, for the children enrolled in Cabarrus County Schools.

Established in 1985 at R. Brown, in response to community need, Kids:Plus now has expanded to each of the 19 elementary schools in Cabarrus County School System. The Kids:Plus before school program opens at 6:00 a.m. The Kids:Plus after school program is open until 6:00 p.m. We offer full-day care programs ("Special Days") on teacher workdays, during school breaks and summer camp.

Each Kids:Plus program is dedicated to providing quality school-age care. Our programs are licensed by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Child Development and all programs currently hold a five-star rated license.

Children in Kids:Plus will be provided with a balance of structured and free-choice activities designed to stimulate the child’s social, emotional, intellectual and physical development.

We offer:
-Theme-related activities in art, crafts, music, dramatic play, language arts and more
-Character-Building Education
-Homework Time
-Computer Time
-Time for Social Interaction
-Special activities through our partnerships with 4-H, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and more
-Organized indoor and outdoor games and physical activities

Kids:Plus believes all children should receive quality care in a safe and nurturing environment. The Kids:Plus staff recognizes each child as an individual and believes a child’s self-image is developed between the ages of 5-12. We believe students learn through play and interaction. We offer materials and activities that are age appropriate to guide growth and development. We continually adapt our programs to best facilitate the growth in a student’s development regardless of his/her age or stage of developmen
