Power School is a secure web-based student information system that provides real-time updates to parents, teachers, students and school administrators about grades, attendance and assignments. Power School features an email notification on grade changes and parents can view student demographics.
Parents will be provided a secure login code to access the PowerSchool system to monitor their students' progress. The code needed to gain access to PowerSchool can be obtained from your child’s school.
There is no cost to use PowerSchool, but you will need a computer with Internet access. Computers are available at public library branches. Please note that in addition to digital information, parents may also request printed data from their child’s school.
Cabarrus County Schools has prepared a video and other support documentation for Parents.
Parents will receive instructions and a secure login code to access the PowerSchool Parent Portal to monitor their students' progress. PowerSchool access codes will be distributed with 1st quarter progress reports. Each parent must create an account to use PowerSchool. (This is a one-time process, once created, you’ll never need to create an account again.) You will need your child’s Access ID and Access Password in order to create your new account.
